I came accross a series of articles on the National Portrait Gallery website from various experts looking into Tudor paintings. They Carried out tests on the wood they were framed with, pigments used, X-Rays and loads of different research. Check the site out below, find out if Henry VIII's son Edward actually sat for his portraits and other insights. B)
