We believe this may be an ancestor, the picture was taken in Alexandria Egypt 15/08/1942 apparently in the North Africa Campaign and we think it may be American? ManoutotCity Posted December 11, 2021 Share Posted December 11, 2021 Sorry for the late contribution but if the matter is still of interest to you, this man appears to be wearing tropical uniform consistent with serving in such as the Middle East and his unit may confidently, be confirmed, from his cap ( assuming it was his!) as British Royal Marines.
