Guest tsavo Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 The Landsdown, later to become the Lacarno, was used for a number of years after the war by Marks & Spencers whose shop on the Moor was destroyed in the Blitz. As with all cinemas the floor was raked and you walked into the shop, went downhill and them back up the hill to the exit.
