Took it while I was out this morning, near Herries Road

Here's another angle,

Some part of the workhouse ? Number 2, Herries Road, as seen on very many Death Certificates.

If it is part of the workhouse then there should be a blocked up doorway, somewhere nearby in the perimeter wall ....

If it isn't, then there probably won't be ... :rolleyes:

It's on the end of a building which as far as I know is Norwood Grange,

It amazes me how the horns on the deer have survived.

It's on Longley Lane near the shops on the corner of Herries Road, you have to go down Norwood Grange Drive to see the gable,

There's the deers head and a couple of rams heads on the corners, a hidden jewel.
