DaveH
Just something i found. WHERE THE "TITANIC" WENT DOWN . Penny Illustrated Paper (London, England), Saturday, May 11, 1912; I suppose the exact location of where the Titanic was when it sank must have been known at the time. The remote oceanic location and depth of water would have made locating the wreckage on the sea bed impossible at the time. But I seem to remember when it was located in the 1980's it was after an extensive search of the area, as though the exact site was not that well recorded. Are you on about the Titanic or the shooting of JFK? ..and other than the fact that you are from Sheffield is there a Sheffield connection? Reiver
Well, JFK's sister, Kathleen (Kick), was 'having it off' with the guy at Wentworth Woodhouse. It's Rotherham I know, but it's close.
