vox Posted April 11, 2011 Share Posted April 11, 2011 Why are there extensive embankments on the Rother when it is flowing through the flood plain ? Are they modern or long standing ? Also I've only just noticed the ox bow lake. This looks as though it has also got extensive banking around the lower part of it. Why ?
