Stuart0742 Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Received this query by email, can anybody help I am trying to find information about an old dance card that I have that was held at Cutler’s Hall, Sheffield. The date on the card is 1918 and it was a dance for U.S.A. soldiers. It says, “For all allied Soldiers, Sailors and Friends.” Can you tell me anything about it? Guest skeets Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 WELL its pretty obvious this would be a celebration dance for all service personel stationed in or nr Sheffield at the end of the 1914/18 war with Roses printing the stationary for the occasion.
