DaveH
Hi, I'm trying to find out as much history as I can about the Ball Inn at Darnall. Past landlords etc, any ideas how I can start this. Guest Harrod
Thanks, that's great! Still finding my way round the site but don't know how I missed that info. Thanks again
DaveH
Thanks, that's great! Still finding my way round the site but don't know how I missed that info. Thanks again Look in the pubs A-Z section. It has loads of information on just about every pub there has ever been in Sheffield and, where possible all their known keepers up to about 1951. This work has been a long time goal of our member RichardB, and is still been added to, and updated with regular updates by ukelele lady. Enjoy having a look, I am sure you will find plenty of useful information.
RichardB
There's some good work on here, some experts and me as well. My top tip - for everyone - try the Sheffield History Google Search Tool - it's the best item on here for finding "stuff" - free. Go there, type in Who can tell and you are already miles ahead of other options type in "Who can tell" and it's a near perfect search. Thanks, that's great! Still finding my way round the site but don't know how I missed that info. Thanks again
