pgmetcalf Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 For younger people like me (40) does anyone remember going to the Saturday Morning Matinee at the ABC on Saturday mornings? What about the Globe burning? i actually went to see Killerfish there. I remember going to see Star Wars at the Gaumont and when Darth Vader came through the smoke everyone booed him and Patrick Moore was in the audience. I used to live on Southey Green Road and remember the Ritz on the roundabout, but I don't remember it being a cinema just bingo. Does anyone know when the Ritz stopped showing movies?
