Thanks for that, vindication at last! (Must print it off for the Missus!) (I'm trying to visualise a 'Down Under' version with bush hat and corks. What would the Aussie version of "I don't belieeeeve it" be?)

'Strewth!!" - a corruption of 'Gods Truth' , an expression of amazement or disbelief. Australians like to shorten everything

I may not be a member of the admin team (does it pay well I wonder), but at least my avatar is a good likeness of myself. Well it was when it was taken when I was three years old and wearing the ermine that represented my then station in life. O.K. it might have been made by my auntie for the Butlins fancy dress parade that I refused point blank to participate in. Apart from the obvious signs of tempus fugit I've now got a bit more hair than I had and my width is about the same as my height back then. Did you try setting the dog on Steve?

SteveHB
No he was me mate I think I would have sooner have faced your dog than your mother, Stuart. She came over and banged on my back door in a right temper, so I ran upstairs with my tail between my legs.
