Blacky
Im looking for any relatives of William Gorman former mayor of Chesterfield, who met the Queen in July 1977. Born in March 1908 to Frank Gorman & Emma Smith (my Great, Great Grandparents) he married Lily Corr and had the following children - (dont have DOBs for any!) Clive, Edward, Frank, Patricia, Sheila. He died in October 1984. At this time he was a retired security officer living at 119 Coniston Road, Chesterfield and the informant was his son in law, Arthur Revell. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Lee.

She married James Blackshaw in 1947. Do you have any pics you would care to share - i have some bits & bobs you may be interested in. If so, PM me. Guest pstainthorp
Leaving a message on this old post in case anyone here is still active on this site. I'm also descended from (William GORMAN's wife) Lily CORR's parents Frank Corr and Emily BOWDEN. My grandfather was Lily Corr's younger brother.
