DaveH
Another great calendar Steve, nice selection of pictures on it, looks like it could be your best yet Tried to download the pages individually from the site but this was slow and February came back with an "error on page" error. Then tried to download from mediafire with the provided password. Once you get past the mediafire advertising this worked a treat, - all the lot in one neat, handy .zip file. This seems a much better way of downloading it and it's the first time we have ever done it this way. I usually print out 2 copies of the Sheffield History calendar, one to put up at home and the other over my desk in the staff workroom at school. My mate Nev at work is a bit like busman, transit and andyrad on here so I am sure he will go on about how great that "old and new" shot is. SteveHB
Once you get past the mediafire advertising this worked a treat, I use the ABP 'add - on' with the Firefox browser, and it stops most pop ups. Sometimes ABP can block things that you don't want to block, but it is quite easy to turn off/disable. addons.mozilla.org

Sometimes ABP can block things that you don't want to block, but it is quite easy to turn off/disable. addons.mozilla.org It wasn't really a problem with pop ups (which IE8 tends to block for me) it was more a question of finding the small print "click here to download your file" amongst all the mediafire price list and what you can have for how much clutter.
