  1. Sorry don't do twitter. I'll try and put come on here
  2. We've just started a new Facebook Group called Park Hill Flats (Sheffield). Not to be confused with NEW Park Hill. I will be posting a number of photographs I took in 1969/70 in due course. You may not be on them but you may know someone who is. If you lived in the area or knocked about around the flats then join us. https://www.facebook.com/groups/169936683725785/ I also have a number of images taken around Sheffield, mainly town again in 1969/70. Sadly some have motion blur which I'm hoping to correct. These random shots have lots of Sheffielders on them. You might be lucky, you might be on them or know someone who is. I'll post these on the Sheffield History Group. They are all black white. https://www.facebook.com/groups/247589428675212/ I hope this is in order admins, if not take it down.
  3. Ah the good old Bungay. As a resident of Park Hill this was a favourite hill for sledging in the 60's. Was difficult to stop yourself careering across the road at the bottom though. Great memories.
  4. May be a bit late, but in the late 60's I heard of a meal they served which I think they called an Albert. Apparently it consisted of many courses and was quite expensive. The rumour goes though, that if you could eat it all, you got it for fee.
  5. Had some great times at the Heartbeat in the late 60's early 70's. I was watching the telly the other week and saw this guy on Come Dine With Me. Don't know what it was but I felt I knew him. Anyways he name meant nothing. Just noticed on here his name was Chris Crossley, jeez aint it a small world? I used to badger him all the time to play some of the great soul records as well as some of the lesser known ones. He had a great collection.
