  1. On the corner of Sharrow Lane and Club Garden Road. Was The Cross Guns (I think) and now a Sure Start centre. - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.3676246,-1.4793845,3a,75y,335.26h,90.29t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sODOa7zWlR9_9kUwnYSkdOw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en
  2. It's the 'megatron' storm drain system under the centre, down by Pond's Forge, Lady's Bridge, etc. There's a blog post HERE showing some urban exploration of it.
  3. I think this may have been the gatehouse to Brincliffe Towers. It's been extended over the years but is correctly positioned for the drive way and is older than all the surrounding houses at the junction, Brincliffe Edge and Quarry Lane. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Brincliffe+Towers,+Brincliffe+Edge+Rd,+Sheffield,+South+Yorkshire+S11+9BZ/@53.358723,-1.503816,3a,75y,103.72h,79.2t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sXzs1NRtO2YAO8HO8X6CEsA!2e0!4m2!3m1!1s0x4879823fcf0c067b:0xb797cf0646a95792
  4. Yes - Correct. There are various building related to the hall scattered around Endcliffe and on Fulwood Rd, such as stables (now the supermarket in the student village).
  5. You mean downhill to the right? There used to be a park keepers hut for the pitch and putt course.
  6. Endcliffe Vale. Junction with Endcliffe Hall Avenue.
  7. RLongden - YES! That's where I worked the Isaacs bit out from. Then once I came across A. Isaacs I could kind of see it in the original image. So top marks for the 2nd image :-)
  8. Found it! Looking up Furnace Hill from West Bar. You can still see the chimney on Google Streetview here The picture that solved it is on Picture Sheffield here where you can still see the original signage on the end of the works.
  9. I think I've identified the company - A. Isaacs & Sons, Cabinet Makers & Upholsterers. There's a picture of their shop on Gibraltar Street here I can't find any other records for the company. But that may be a starting point.
  10. Directed by Ben Wheatley. A Warp Film, like Four Lions. Here's a map of the locations. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?msa=0&mid=ze7sMXqnLCnI.k3U0s4Ogcd6I
  11. Better/edgier music than the Leadmill, wading around in a couple of inches of Newkie Brown on the floor and one particularly good Sharp Cuts gig.
  12. Haha! Yes... I've been a silent observer for way too long
  13. Hi, I don't recognize the badge and can't find a version of it, but the emblems would suggest that it is from the Wesleyan College as the lower left quadrant is the cross and scallops of the Wesley coat of arms: '> The upper right quadrant appears to be the University of London coat of arms: '> Previously called the Wesleyan Proprietary Grammar School, it was renamed and I assume had this coat of arms created, when it received Royal Warrant, constituting the Sheffield Wesley College a college of the University of London. I hope that helps a bit?
