The Albert Hall - now sadly long gone and replaced by the huge John Lewis site
The planning application for a restaurant was approved in December: Sheffield CIty Council Planning Application 17/03655/FUL
It will be good to see the building in use. It seems to have been empty for some time.
I took a few photos last year on one of my infrequent visits to Shefield, so taken was I by some of the ornamentation. Pity about the tram overhead getting in shot. Clicking on the image brings up the full-size version for more detail
We are looking down High Street with Angel Street going off to the left. The building in the background is the Fitzalan Market Hall.
Whether the fish market was in there i have no idea, although there were certainly fishmongers
Where is that photo exactly, would it be looking down Commercial St with Angle St off to the left and Fitzalan Sq to the right? I'm pretty sure the location features on the old 'tram ride through Sheffield' film.
Yes, Kids will love it, it is set in the half term because it has lots of activities for kids.

Opened in 1873 for "music, Entertainment & public meetings" It was claimed to have one on the finest concert organs in the country. The hall burned down on the night of July 14 1937. The picture below was taken the day after. The `City Council purchased the site in August 1938 for £50.000 and then what?
Hope this helps. The building(s) are now part of the ever sprawling Hallam University something to do with accomodation.
The gable end features the "vultures".
