Won the Radio Luxembourg groups competition at the top Rank

Jimmy Saville was doing the live radio show. He took us to London where we signed with Immediate records. Within weeks the company went bust , the M.D. Andrew Oldham went on to manage the Rolling Stones , and we came back to Sheffield.

Then managed by Peter Stringfellow, who was challenged by Don Arden (Sharron Osborn’s farther )  who had bought our contract from immediate records.
