Bayleaf Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 I wouldn't have a clue how to do an overlay, but looking at the completed work I did wonder about the large triangular shaped enclosures with the apexes pointing north on both images. The acute angles look remarkably similar. If you line up the tops of the triangles does anything else make sense ? Just a thought. HD I think the critical part is Priest Hill Farm, the cluster of buildings at bootom centre. The problem with doing an overlay in this case is that the drawing is a sketch from a fieldbook rather than a finished plan . It isn't therefore true to scale, just a way of laying out the measurements etc for reworking later. I see what you mean about the tiangles though!
