Mr. William Cooper, at the sign of the Sir John Falstaff in the Wicker was one of the places where people were able to sign up to the Grimesthorpe and Brightside Bierlow Association. Sheffield Mercury 13th August 1831.see advertisement under that heading

1911 Sarah Ann Hudson [ census ]

Th 1921 census return gives Sarah Ann Hudson's son William as licensee, and the 1925 Kelly's Directory gives the licensee as another of her son, Arthur Hudson, The 1933 directory gives the licensee as Herbert Tooley, and by 1956 the pub is no longer listed in local directories. Sarah Ann Hudson died aged 83 in 1934.

Postscript - I just fund an article in the 'Sheffield Evening Telegraph of 27 January 1915 reporting to the transfer of the licence for the Pheasant Inn from Sarah Ann Hudson to William Hudson.
