When I first joined Sheffield History the posts would be thick and fast but when an upgrade to the site was decided upon, it was a in hindsight a terrible decision. Posts are days or even weeks apart and I suspect it's because of frustration of some of the members having to refresh or possible new members not being able to join. A once cracking site Is now failing .

I used to visit the forum every day, then the update hit and I only visit infrequently these days, when I remember that it's still here.

Sad indeed, spend a long time and a lot of effort to make this site great (as did many others). Every upgrade was a disaster. Still a great resource ...

Less moaning and more posting would solve the issue straight away

A bit rude I must say:o

Especially after another update which signed me out!

Good job Firefox remembered the password or I would have left the site alone too!

LEAVE THE BLOODY SITE ALONE!

ha ha sorry - it was a humorous tongue in cheek post but didn't come across well or in context!

Yeah I'm hopefully done with site updates now

Should be fine and all working now!
