johnm
During a visit to Sheffield yesterday we went to the National Emergency Services Museum at West Bar. Had a great visit taking about 2 hours & currently includes a good Sheffield Blitz exhibition. Most of the staff are volunteers & It doesn't seem to get enough publicity . Give it a try !! http://www.emergencymuseum.org.uk/index.html

Thorntons girl
I have just visited here and it is a wonderful place, so much to see and do. Lots of fire engines through the ages, blitz exhibition, Charlie peace prison cell, a cafe, play area, lots to enjoy!! The price of the ticket was £8, £7 for a student and the tickets can be used for a whole year!! Amazing value, fun for all the family Go on support a valuable asset to Sheffield - you wont be disapointed!!,
