tozzin Posted July 3, 2016 Share Posted July 3, 2016 Because of road improvements at the junction of Blackstock Road and Gleadless Road part of the remains of Newfield Hall have been revealed. I did manage to get a couple of photos but not of much consequence. The fireback is stamped Viking Patent, the cellar steps show how badly wore they were, so worn in fact they were lifted and put back upside down to give them new steps, the grate was seated as a drain away in the cellar floor.
