Walking through Crystal Peaks this morning, I had to do a double take, as a recently opened menswear shop brought memories of the 70’s flooding back. Double checked on Picture Sheffield and as I thought, the logo is just the same!

Was it Jean Genie further up, on the other side of King Street? I thought it might have been Western Jean, but now I think about it, that was the top of Fargate?

Just wish I was the same age to be shopping in the new Tramps, as I was shopping in the old one!

The similarity is so striking that it must surely be run by a new generation of the same family. But would you really buy clothes from a shop called "Tramps"? Perhaps they also have a home security shop called Steele's?

I do remember a shop (though not in Sheffield) called Bull's Dairies. I wonder who had the thankless task of milking them.
