Interesting - it show Barnetts in the High Street where I used to work when I first left school. Much later than the 1930s though I hasten to add.

At about 1:40 and 2:40 there are sightings of what, to me, looks like a "Roberts" class tramcar. The first of these, 501, known as the Jubilee car, entered service in 1946, and the production batch of 35 arrived in 1950-1952.

How one made it into a 1930s film is an interesting proposition.

The Morris Minor MM first appeared in 1948 with small head lights either side of the grill. The Minor at 1.44 is the later model with raised full size lights and dates from 1950. Amongst other clues there is also a fleeting glimpse of a all green tram. W/E.
