DaveH Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 2 photo's taken 28/01/09 Throughout the 1990's I used to go in this pub on the second Tuesday of every month for the Committee meeting of Sheffield Steam Society (they now use the Centre Spot on Jaunty Road). Even then the pub was often empty or only had 3-4 people in buying drinks. It appeared to be quite a rough pub, especially as the Park Hill Flats were just across Duke Street and the Hyde Park flats were just around the back. It looks to be closed and empty at the moment, however the wondows look new, some sort of renovation is taking place I think, anybody have any ideas on this.
