Please find attached 3 old photos including Arthur Bell and Lily Ada Armin possibly on their wedding day. Arthur Bell was the publican of the Princess Royal around 1890. Before him was his father in law, William Armin ( sometimes known as Arminio) It is possible that he is in the photos in the cabbage patch! William Armin became the publican at the Princess Royal after 1876 so it could be that he was one of the first landlords. Arthur and Lily Ada Bell took over from him and ran the Princess Royal until about 1928. He died, we think, in the pub. I will also send you a copy of the photo of the Princess Royal with the name A. Died at Weston Park Hospital; Buried on January 11, 1972 in Consecrated ground; Grave Number 618, Section AA of Crookes Cemetery, Sheffield. BELL, Lily Ada (Widow, age 71). Died at 1 West Over Road; Buried on November 7, 1947 in Consecrated ground; Grave Number 618, Section AA of Crookes Cemetery, Sheffield.
