Calvin72
Hello All, I am currently running a camp on Endcliffe Park against the AMEY/SCC plan to fell more than half the mature roadside trees in Sheffield. The early stages of a legal challenge means we need to know the date of Rustlings Road's construction (easy), the date of the tree planting on the road (harder), and whether Rustlings Road was 'adopted' at a date later than it's construction. Come on the usual suspects ! Many thanks in advance, Calvin

New Road Names.--The question of a name for the road which has recently been constructed along the Endcliffe Woods, from Ecclessall road to Riverdale road. has been considered by the works sub-committee, and it was decided to recommend the Watch Committee to call the road Rustlings Road. it was also decided to recomend that committee to call the road which runs from Fulwood road to Sir John Browns gates, Riverdale road Oakbrook road, which is a continuation of Graham road, to be called Graham road ; the road now called Lower Oakbrook road to be called Oakbrook road.
