In last nights local news programme on "LOOK LEEDS" there was a section with a choir singing Christmas carols from Christ Church at Dore. Now I would have said, from Christ Church, Dore, Sheffield or even Sheffield S17. But NO! Look Leeds, now famous for their Christa Ackroyd type Sheffield gaffs introduced it as from "Dore village NEAR Sheffield" and further to this the subtitled location said "from Dore church NEAR Sheffield" Now I appreciate that Dore was once a nice
