Can anyone please help me with some information about St James Cemetery.

National Burial Index shows my relative Thomas Flather was buried there on 26 December 1832 age 52.

Questions are:

Does this cemetery still exist? If so whereabouts is it? Google is very confusing and refers to Sheffield General cemetery and Sheffield Indexers shows 2 different St James's.

Does anyone have any memorial inscriptions for this cemetery that they wouldnt mind looking to see if they have anything for Thomas please.

Thanks for any help anyone can give

Two St James Churches, one near Campo Lane, one at Norton.

Some details for St James, a chapel of ease to the Parish Church (Cathedral)

here : http://www.sheffieldfhs.org.uk/serv_con/stjames.htm (no longer exists; possible reburials at Gen. Cem. ?

Norton here : http://www.sheffieldfhs.org.uk/serv_con/Norton_church.htm I know nothing about this place.

[Not a huge amount of help, but, maybe some help ...]

The burial registers for St James Church 1813 - 1854 ( which was on St James St ) Sheffield are at the Sheffield Archives so if your ancestor was buried there you can access the records by contacting Sheffield Archives http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/libraries/archives-and-local-studies

The burial records for St James Norton covering 1559 - 1948 are also at the Archives.

The Archives do not appear to have monumental inscription listings for either church
