When i was a young lad i used to live on Murdoch road with my dad, i moved away from the Parson Cross area many years ago but have some great memories. Does anyone know what happened to Murdoch road and why most of Parson Cross has been demolished with very few new houses being built? Many thanks. According to Google maps there's a Murdock Road near Southey Hill, but Picture Sheffield have a photo named Murdoch Road. Confused. Anyway, if it is Murdock, then it's still there. I lived just around the corner on Adlington Road and passed Murdoch Road on my way to school , Southey Green Secondary school for ten years every day.
