vox Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 I've wondered about the odd looking Gate House for years. Just recently I ventured up the driveway to the main building. Built as residence for W.C LENG of the Sheffield Telegraph. When Spear & Jackson's offices were bombed during WW2, The Towers was used as temporary offices. The Towers Lodge on Sandygate Road/Coldwell Lane. Google Streetview Up the drive to the main building. Couldn't get any better shots without standing on their lawn.
