Shot sometime in the early 1960's, if you are quick enough you get a quick glimpse of Redgates on the Moor.

Fine stuff, Thank you. Loved the swingy wooden doors on the Pond Street one. lol

Nice one, - nice to see proper cars driving down the Moor again.

This appears to have been done on 8mm film, - more likely standard 8 than Super 8 which first came out in 1965.

Fits nicely into 1 minute, the 25 foot roll of film would run for 4minutes (or rather 2x 2 minutes, turning the film over half way through) for standard 8 at 16frames per second and it would be 3 minutes 29 seconds shooting time on Super 8 at its standard speed of 18fps.

Either way it fits nicely as a 1 minute shot but appears to be speeded up slightly by running the camera at a lower than standard speed.

Hi Stuart. Fifty seconds into the film those white posts on the left bring back memories. On that site I once went with my dad to see a large preserved whale on the back of a lorry, I can still smell it now. Over the years and up until the early 70s various exhibitions were held there, usually in large marquees. W/E.

And santa's grotto in the pine trees that were decorated with coloured light bulbs :)

Looking at the vehicles in the picture I think the white Vauxhall Viva is the most recent, and they date from mid 1963 . W/E.
