Graham and I, and another couple of Shiregreen lads, formed a group...no instruments, no amplifiers, no nothing really...just an intention to become famous by making music. We dug gardens, cut grass and had a Post Office Savings Bank account with 7/6d in it after all our efforts when Graham and another became really serious and Mark Stone and the Questers was formed. They practiced at Shiregreen Congregational Church Hall and eventually morphed into the 4 Blades. I remember Graham having the accident and his girl-friend, Carol ,reading him the do this or else Act. Long time ago but nice to read about them.
