Kishinev93
Does anyone know anything about this building just published on Picture Sheffield? The caption reads simply 'Old Norton court house'. It's dated 1974. http://www.picturesheffield.com/frontend.php?keywords=Ref_No_increment;EQUALS;s31490&pos=1&action=zoom&id=103886
duckweed
Looks like the buildings still there at the back of Bagshawe Arms which is said to be the local courts. However Nick Bagshawe seemed to suggest to me that the court was within Oaks estate, On other hand Bagshawe Arms belonged to the Bagshawes so perhaps he was mistaken. LeadFarmer
Court building behind Bagshawe Arms. You can just make out an inscribed stone high up on the wall.. Close up of inscribed stone with initials FWB, no doubt FW Bagshawe? View when stood at rear of pub car park...
