Edmund
I see from the Star that Cobnar Cottage in Graves Park is under threat. Is it a historic building as stated? Star report - Cobnar Cottage I presume that the tree growing out of its wall reflects the standard of maintenance it has received, while under the care of the council. May be better off with a new owner?
Gordon crapper
I've been inside this cottage many times. My mother's sister lived there in the 30s and early 40s, her husband was a park keeper. I remember it as very dark inside. Then they moved to the cottage in Bowden Housteads wood, which if anything was even darker! I've no idea how historic it is, but if no one wants to use it I don't personally feel it would be a great loss.
duckweed
It is not great Architecturally as far as I can see but it is part of the historic hamlet of Bolehill which goes back to pre 16th c. It was the heart of the Norton scythemaking industry and nailmaking industry. One of the Blythes of Bishops House married a nailmaker who lived in Boleshill. So knocking it down and replacing it with a garden wouldn't be yet another building gone from the hamlet,
