ceegee
From the 1911 and 1901 Census - it looks from the information that Gerald's mother Annie had been married previously and had a son James and a daughter Edith from that marriage. Gerald's parents were both 38 years of age when he was born in 1900

Edmund
The reference on his record to the London Gazette is for page 10191 published 30th August 1918. The entry is for numerous men, but reads: The undermentioned Flight Cadets are granted temp. commns. as 2nd. Lts. (A. & S.) :- 15th Aug 1918 Rerald Marcus Jackson Morton The spelling error in his Christian name was remarked on in his service record.
