duckweed
There will be a public Meeting at St Pauls Church, Norton Lees to discuss possible uses for the Hall. The Council has linked the future of the 2 buildings together so I have too. This is to be a brainstorm session to look at what the community would like to happen to the 2 buildings and to look for people to sign up as supporters. It is an opportunity for everyone to have a say and make their voice heard. No one will be ignored. The Meeting is on the 30th September at 7.30 and there will be cake and other refreshments. For those who don't know about Meersbrook Hall I refer you to my blogs http://sheffieldtimewalk.wordpress.com/2014/06/24/meersbrook-househall/ and http://bishopshouse.wordpress.com/2012/03/22/the-florence-nightingale-connection/ The Hall is wrongly dated when it was listed. It is mainly Georgian and there is a suspicion that part is actually 17thc but the Hall has never had any in depth research done on it.
Guest grahamdb
I have a leaflet that mentions a survey about saving this building, I have tried to access all the addresses on this form but had no look. Anybody know how to get access ?
