Guest rprest
Hi, It's my first post here on the forum and I hope some of you good folk may be able to help me a bit! I'm doing some family research and I know my father (John Prest) lived at 562 Coleridge Rd (now demolished of course) in the 1950s. At the time this was the local Newsagent, run by my grandparents (Richard & Jessie Prest). Richard died long before I was born and Jessie and my father have been passed for some years now, so I have nobody in the family to speak to about this time period. Does anybody remember the newsagent or any of the Prest family? I've seen a few photos of Coleridge Rd, but not of this area of the street. Does anybody happen to know if/where they may be any? Love to hear from anyone who can help or remembers the family! Richard

Guest rprest
Thanks for the map and the extra information. Looks like it was a newsagents for many years, which might make it easier to locate a photo of the building!
