Bayleaf
Can anyone help with this query please? When the dams were built at Derwent the workers lived in 'Tintown', a temporary town of huts near the dams, the remains of which can still be seen. Redmires dams were built between 1836 and 1853. Was there an equivalent of Tintown, and if so, where was it? Any help gratefully received!
