James Hague - Ramc - Military Medal Winner 1918

James HAGUE served as Private 244/405169 in the 1st West Riding Field Ambulance Brigade in the Great War.

Previously he had lived at 28 Welby Place, Norton Lees.

He was awarded the Military Medal in 1918 (London Gazette June 1919) for gallantry.

I have been fortunate to acquire James' medal group together with some of the original documents and photographs etc which were first offered at auction here in Sheffield in March 2012.

I have been able to discover some more facts about him but if anyone has any information, no matter how small etc - then I would be very grateful to hear of it.
