Dear All,

I am currently research on behalf of Stamford School, Lincolnshire the name of our 52 Old Boys who died in WW1. One of the names I am researching is a gentleman with a Sheffield connection - Walter Clay Arnold.

I have conducted quite extensive research on Walter, and have even spent what time I can, consulting records at the Sheffield Local Studies Library, but so far I have drawn a blank on finding obituary details, and more importantly a photograph of him.

I wonder if anyone might be able to aid me in tracking this additional info down?

Below is included all the relevant I have on Walter, if any more is needed, I will be more than happy to add/ forward it on to that person.

Any help or information would be much appreciated, and greatly aid Stamford School's commemoration efforts.

Nick
