Sheffield attend the memorable Football Derby Match at Hillsborough, Sheffield Wednesday 0 Sheffield United 1 Hillsborough, 16/10/1937 The Lord Mayor, Ann Eliza Longden & Captain of H.M.S. Sheffield, Mark Wardlow shook hands with the players. The first League match between the two sides since March 1934 was watched by a crowd of over 50,000 with United winning 1 : 0.
