Warning Dodgy soundtrack

I would put this one as early 1980s. The Moor is pedestrianised, which happened in 1979, and I think the buses seen at approx 0.45 and 1.45 are MCW Metrobuses, the first of which entered service with South Yorkshire in early 1980.

Warning Dodgy soundtrack

Not a dodgy soundtrack at all Stuart.

It is a silent film recorded directly from the screen in a technique we discussed after the Eric Smith film show a couple of years ago.

This requires the film projector and video camera to be as near as possible at the same point (side by side).

What you can hear is projector noise.

Still dodgy

Half the films I copied came out like that.

Best thing was just to remove the soundtrack and either leave it totally silent or record / dub another one in its place.

And yet again, someone stands outside Redgates recording the scene but doesn't turn around! At least it reminded me of the name of a shop I've been trying to remember: Colvins.
